I still post (she says every time)! Former exclusive from the @lgdays discord.
Thank you so much, this is gorgeous! They all look so happy ♥ We also love the details on the books, haha
Hello there, if you have the time please let us know about both the reporter ladies and the shadowed guy in glasses and about their ages? ^_____^ -- Just asking, thanks. ^_____^
Hi there! Sorry for taking so long to answer. We’ll keep our answers a bit vague since we want players to get to know the characters in game.
The first two are Atiye (left) and Zoe (right). Both of them work together at a local TV news station, and are reporting what happened in Kaliningrad. They are in their late twenties.
The shadowed guy in glasses is known as Cygnus and he’s a programmer. We’d prefer not to say much about him yet, but we can tell that our Discord bot is named after him:

Important Announcement + Progress Report
Last year we announced Long Gone Days would be released this coming April, but even though we have been working hard all this time to achieve that, we feel that more time is needed to reach our desired level of polish.
When we started working on Chapter 2, we thought it would be ready in just a couple of months. Because the script wasn’t nearly as long as our first chapter, we decided to work on it together with Chapter 3 (there are 4 chapters in total), so we could release both at the same time. On top of that, there were still fixes to be made to Chapter 1, and down the road, we realized that the amount of work required for this update would be even larger than we expected. Still, we made the mistake of believing we’d be able to deliver the full release in April.
At the moment, we don’t have a definitive date on the full release, because we don’t really want to make the same mistake again, but we can say with certainty that the next big story update of Long Gone Days is almost finished and will be released really soon.
We also would like to take this opportunity to share with you a lot of progress and changes that are included in this upcoming update. The first big change is that Ivan is finally usable in battle:
This chapter wouldn’t be complete without some new characters and party members:

As a bonus, here’s a step by step GIF showing a bit of the process, from our rough sketches and tests, to the finished composition (we had to compress it a lot, but it looks a bit better on our Twitter):

I believe this is our first post of 2019!
We’ve been working on a ton of new maps, and here’s a detail shot of the one we’ve been working on today, with some newspaper covered windows.
This is really messy, but as a bonus, here are also some prior doodles we drew:
Yo, I've been following y'all since early 2016, maybe even 2015. I might have sent a message like this already, but seeing y'all come all this way, to selling on Steam and itchio, is really inspiring. I've become a gamedev myself this year, and seeing an idea as unique as your team's become so popular is really inspiring and awesome. Y'all are awesome. Awesome, awesome work. And today, I'll finally be able to play it; couldn't buy it before for reasons. So glad! Good job!
Wow, thank you so much for your constant support, it’s been such a long time, haha.
We are so glad to hear that you have gotten into game development, please don’t hesitate to write to us if you ever have any questions about it, we’ll be glad to share what we have learned.
